Positive attitude in personal life


Positive attitude is not just keeping pleasuring smile on your face and thinking happy thoughts. On the
other hand, these are the results of positive attitude in your life. The effects spread beyond the 
surface cheer. Negative attitude promotes fear, hostile nature, parochial view towards life, while 
positive attitude is exactly opposite of the same above. Incorporating positive attitude in life broadens 
the view towards life, leads to the actual living your life with the primary instinct of learning new skills.

To incorporate positive attitude in my life, the first thing I do is keep my friend circle, surrounding 
people with positive thoughts. This wind up in giving a positive view towards the world and life, 
promotes new ideas and skills and makes the life wonderful. It’s true that I cannot choose my 
co-workers but I have the choice of abstaining from the negativity they might create. Having these 
people with me have made my life in college quite wonderful.

Besides, filling the mind with positive thoughts makes the way to positive attitude. Reading positive 
thoughts, reading positive and encouraging books, listening to positive music and podcast clears the 
mind of any negativity and take you to the apogee of positivity mountain. Attitude is nothing but how 
do we act, react to our surroundings. Getting my mind filled with positive thought encourage me to do
positive things.

Language delineates how you process the world. Keeping decent language means you are aware of 
the words you are speaking and clearly knows what you are delivering. Using abusive language, even
for, especially for looking ‘cool’ does not justify anything but makes our view of the world blur. Living a 
college life and not getting integrated with abuse is difficult dogs but I somehow managed to avert the 
calamity.

Another way to have a positive attitude is by creating a daily routine for  and setting targets for
yourself. Early to bed and early to rise makes a man healthy, wealthy and wise. Daily exercise 
encourages good health and helps in keeping positive attitude. Following routine gives me 
satisfaction and promotes me to keep up with it. Behavior towards people shows our attitude. As per 
the say goes ‘Tit for Tat’, doing wrong with someone will follow worse upon you. But doing good, 
perturbing good behavior towards others keeps the atmosphere around you positive. Being sincere 
and honest does not do nothing bad to others, but still, people don't follow the same as it’s easier to 
live without them. History has repeatedly shown us the fallacy of the behavior.

One of the best way to consolidate positive attitude is to love and respect your parents and teachers. 
Every culture, every religion advices the same. The people who raise you, build you, transform you 
into a better person, deserve veneration from the whole world. Also, stop complaining about every 
controversy we see in the world. Instead, see the positivity and embrace them. Have a goal or aim in 
your life. This keeps you on track.
‘Fake it till you make it’. Not a hypocrisy, I warn you. Sometimes I can't “feel” the emotions needed to
be felt, so I faked those emotions at first. Magically after some time they we incorporated into me. 
The extended version for this is ‘Fake it till you become it’. You want to be a happy, smiley person of 
the group, you fake it before, the you make it and then you actually become it. Integrating positive 
attitude sometimes require this kind of ‘odd’ behavior.

Might not seem like a complex thing to do? Well, right! These are the very common things any 
person can do to incorporate positive attitude in his life.
